..on Fri 22nd May 2009, Kamal played with Teti and Zahari. I did not play but caught up with them at the 18th. Here are some pics and clips:

He ended up in the left greenside bunker.

Our friend Shariman with a friend at the funeral of Al-marhum YAM Raja Baharom Shah ibni Sultan Yussuf at Segedup, Batu Gajah on 14 May 2009.

Abang Man, as promised, this pix is for you.

While we were having our lunch at Vanggey, Soo had a hot dog in New York.

See you back home Soo! You look younger in our environment.

....still regarding the lunch at Vanggey, here are a couple of clips:

The Players Lunch @ Vanggey

Below are some pictures :(click on them to get a bigger image)

We started at 12; and, as usual, it was a "eat whatever you like and as much as you want" kind of lunch.

The one to watch was Mus ;Kasi and S'man supervised.

TS had so much on his plate he had to use both hands. Increasingly grumpy with age, he insisted the President should be removed because he does not agree that there should be a prize for second place. But then again he is always a good sport.

Rudy complained the kelapa was too young but walloped half of it first before asking for an older one. So far he has yet to win, so he was entitled to be a bit choosy.

A rookie to the group, Rizal, understandably, came a little late; in fact it was after the bill was settled, but Muk, being a good host, quickly assured him he can still have his share. Meanwhile, Mus complained bitterly he should have been informed earlier if someone else was sharing his pick.

Shariman seen here picking some bones off his lunch, but insists he will pick Mike Weir for life

Another rookie, Ah Kow, was oblivious to Mus's complain. Anyway, how was he to know; he is just a beginner after all. So he just enjoyed his makan.

Uncle Lee was quite shocked he won. In order to maintain his popularity, he normally prefers to lose. But he was consoled by the fact that there was a joint winner....jadi tidak apa la.

But happiest of all was Muk.
He was delighted that he won....joint pun joint lah.

But more than that he was happy to be among his old friends, sharing the pleasures of golf's unpredictability and the comradeship of the Group.

But most of all, perhaps, is the fact that he has been able to come back to Ipoh and is once again a member of the Club.

Notably absent this time round were Chang (apparently in Sitiawan) and Soo, who, at about the same time we were having lunch, was munching a hot dog in New York.
